DeAnn L. Prosia has always been fascinated with how society has historically built beautiful and interesting architecture to fill the needs of people and their everyday lives. A question always on her mind is, "If we had to start all over again, would we build everything exactly the same?" She structurally creates images by building up layers of line to create tone. She finds interests in complex structures and in unrecognizable locations. Her aim is for people to focus on the technique and detail she's builds up through her cross hatching and construction of work.
Currently her work is featured in ARTSY.com and at FYREGALLERY in Braidwood, Australia. Two of her pieces (including "Capri Harbor") were featured in the exhibition "A Grand Tour: Images of Italy from the Permanent Collection of the Jundt Art Museum" in Spokane, WA.
