It all started when…
Rhoda Yanow, a New Jersey native, is a widely exhibited National and International artist. She completed her art education at the Parsons School of Design and the National Academy of Design in New York City. Ms Yanow has extensive teaching experience in both the public and private sector. She has been the Juror of Selection and Awards on many occasions.
Among her many memberships she includes the Pastel Society of America where she was elected Master Pastellist in 1979 and in 2016 was made a Hall of Fame Honoree. She also has memberships in Allied Artists of America, Audubon Artists, and Catherine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club plus many others.
Her work has been extensively collected by the Butler Museum of American Art, where she was the recipient of two One Women Shows. The Morris Museum and the Noyes Museum, both in New Jersey, also have her work in their collections. She is in the First Pastel Museum in China and many other National and International locations plus Private and Corporate collections.
Ms. Yanow has been awarded numerous Best in Show, Gold and Silver Medals, and a great many other awards too numerous to mention in this small space. She has also been featured in many books and publications and has adorned Front Covers on many publications.
