Friedman’s work featured

Deborah Friedman’s artwork was featured in an eight page article and on the cover of the April/May 2019 issue of International Artist magazine. She also had work juried into the Cato Institute’s inaugural art exhibition “Freedom: Art as the Messenger” in Washington D.C. April-June 2019. Her drawing “Cairn Triptych” received the Dorothy Berberis Memorial Award at the 2019 CLWAC Annual Exhibition. She also has work included in a new drawing textbook “Gateways to Drawing” by Steven CP Gardner, published by Thames and Hudson.

I recommend that you grab a VIA and head down to CIMA (Center for Italian Modern Art - Call ahead for their tour as the museum is tiny and charming and the curators are very knowledgeable – they will even serve cappuccino !
The show includes Morandi, Sironi and Carra and focuses on Metaphysical Masterpieces 1916 – 1920
