It is my great honor to welcome all of you: our Elected, Honorary and Associate Members and Friends!

Also, please visit our Newsletter and make sure you submit your material for posting.

Recently we have successfully concluded our Online Competition, exclusively for our Associate Members; the twelve winners receive Elected Membership in the Allied Artists of America. We wish to congratulate Stephanie Deshpande, the Grand Prize Winner of this competition! Her oil painting “Stargazers” is featured here and will be shown in our upcoming annual exhibition.

Currently, preparations are being made for the our 105th Annual Juried Exhibition, open to the public from Thursday, August 30st to Sunday, September 16th. We hope you will attend our Reception on Sunday, September 16th from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.  the Jury of Selection notifications will be posted on our website beginning July 16. The Receiving Day is Tuesday, August 28.

Our Juror of Awards is Scott Schweigert, Curator at the Reading Public Museum.

Proud to announce the introduction of the Mixed Media to this year’s categories, we are looking forward to showing an exciting selection of works from Artists throughout the United States and beyond, in a new exhibition of great success! Our beautiful gallery at the elegant, historical Salmagundi Club will once again serve as an ideal setting for our show!

As President of the Allied Artists of America and on behalf of our Board of Directors and Committee Members, I would like to thank all the donors for their continuous support and generous contributions. This year’s significant donations are making possible two new major awards: the Dale Meyers Cooper Memorial Award and medal for Watercolor, in the amount of $1,000 and the Mary Kay and Paul Jeynes Award for an Animal Sculpture, in the amount of $500.

A non-profit organization, the Allied Artists of America is entirely run by volunteers whose hard work and dedication keep it functioning impeccably. I wish to acknowledge here the extraordinary help from Zenaida Erbe and Stewart Grodzitsky, independent volunteers who dedicate their expertise and countless hours of hard work to the benefit of our organization; we thank them both!

Mitzura Salgian, President
