The Associate plays a very important role in the functioning structure of AAA by taking an active part in the affairs of the Society. He or she is invited to attend the Annual Meeting when their guidance in the operational field may be sought. An Associate Member may hold the office of Treasurer or Assistant Treasurer and in this elective office his or her voice and vote on the Board are of much importance. An Associate Member may submit one work for exhibition to Juries of Selection without paying an entry fee. Invitations to the reception of the Annual Exhibitions and copies of the AAA Newsletter will be sent to the Associate.

The Associate dues of $40.00 a year assist in furthering the goals of AAA and enables the Society to offer increased awards. Associates need not be artists.  Many are art appreciators or have careers in art-related industries.  Associates are listed in the exhibition catalog, which they receive without charge. You can help advance American art by your participation as an Associate Member.
